Celebrating the Opening of Crescent – A New Chapter in Long Beach

It is with great pride and gratitude that I share the news of the completion and opening of the Crescent project in Long Beach. This milestone marks not only the transformation of a former Motel 6 into 40 beautiful, supportive homes, but also a renewed commitment to our mission: building spaces that change lives.

The Crescent project stands as a testament to what can be achieved when vision, collaboration, and compassion come together. Through California’s Project Homekey initiative, and in partnership with Linc Housing, we have created a community where individuals experiencing homelessness can find safety, dignity, and hope for the future.

As President of Imperial Contracting, I am continually inspired by the dedication of our team and the trust of our partners. Crescent is more than a building—it is a place where new beginnings are possible. Every detail, from the private studios to the outdoor gathering spaces and on-site support offices, was designed with the well-being of our residents in mind.

We know that the journey to stability starts with a home. By leveraging our experience in adaptive reuse and working closely with local agencies, we ensured Crescent met the highest standards for quality, safety, and community integration. This project is proof that together, we can address urgent needs and create lasting impact.

I want to thank everyone who played a role in bringing Crescent to life. Your commitment, expertise, and heart have made a real difference. As we welcome our new residents, let us celebrate this achievement and look forward to more opportunities to serve our community.
